Our office is committed to supporting the recruitment, inclusion, and retention of diverse GME trainees as future leaders in medicine.
How has your program supported resident wellness?
On top of individual residency programs, our GME Diversity Committee hosts monthly wellness events (bowling, happy hour, outdoor activities).
How has your program supported diversity, inclusion, and equity (DEI) either at your institution or in the surrounding community?
We support recruitment (attendance at minority medical conferences), inclusion (GME Diversity Committee), professional development (LEAD Program, Professional Dev Sessions), and mentorship (Navigating Med Series, partner with Office of Faculty Dev & Diversity) of diverse GME trainees.
