Amina Latif
I am a first-generation Filipina and Black student, born and raised in Los Angeles, California. As a medical student at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, I am passionate about working with vulnerable and underserved populations, with a focus on improving surgical outcomes for patients. I have been involved in research on orthopedics and sports medicine, as well as fostering collaborations between SNMA and LMSA throughout my time in medical school. Forming strong bonds and building community has always been a priority for me since starting medical school, and I want to continue pursuing opportunities that align with my passions within medicine.
