Ashley Cianchini de la Sota, MS4

Ashley Cianchini de la Sota is a fourth-year medical student from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. She is originally from Caguas, Puerto Rico. Ashley is incredibly passionate about mentorship, advocacy, and advancing health equity. As the founder of CianchiniMed, a mentorship platform for premedical and medical students across Puerto Rico, she has supported hundreds of students navigating their journey into medicine. Her research interests include surgical oncology and pediatric health disparities, uplifting underrepresented voices in academic medicine. Ashley hopes to continue merging storytelling, surgery, and social impact throughout her career.
