Carolina Restrepo 

Carolina Restrepo is currently entering her fourth year of her Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. She is pursuing her medical studies, with the firm desire to, in the future, serve as a woman leader in Puerto Rican medicine and actively contribute to the well-being PR communities. She participated in this research project via the PIES program & in the process found a passion for health equity research and advocacy. Through this research, she reaffirmed the importance of sensitive and inclusive medicine that advocates for equity and justice for all patients, regardless of their identity.
