Dahlia Chavez
Dahlia Chavez is a third-year medical student at Rush Medical College and an advocate passionate about health equity, health disparities, chronic illness, and disability justice. As a first-generation Latina student living with chronic conditions, she brings lived experience to her work at the intersection of medicine, storytelling, and systemic change. Her writing focuses on the unseen stories in healthcare, those shaped by stigma, structural barriers, and resilience, and aims to humanize both patients and providers.​
