John Gallagher

I am a fourth-year medical student at Wayne State University School of Medicine (WSUSOM) in Detroit, Michigan. I lived in Santiago, Chile, and majored in Spanish during undergraduate. My interests in medicine include mitigating health disparities for Hispanic individuals through culturally humble and linguistically concordant care. At WSUSOM, I have been lucky to be part of a great team of "Amigos Médicos" which shares these interests. Together, we seek the same goal: Crecer Más Fuerte con Cada Desafío. I look forward to joining a similar team in residency and my career beyond!
