Susana V. Itriago Freites

Susana Victoria Itriago Freites is a 4th-year Cellular Molecular Biology major with a Minor in Medical Humanities and Health at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. As a proud Venezuelan immigrant raised in Puerto Rico, she is dedicated to advancing diversity in medicine and is passionate about neurosurgery and research. Her personal journey fuels her commitment to bridging healthcare gaps. She hopes to contribute to her community by transform patient care through translational medicine and improved access to healthcare services.
